how soon before families are notified?

thanks for all the posts, I am taking the no news is good news road, so it makes it easier. When 24 hours have passed I will start to feel much better. It is good to know families usually know quickly, that was my fear. I worried if something happened it may take days for us to find out anything. Thanks again for all the prayers...
