Im arriving on Nov. 1.

mesaboy 2 to the rescue!!! thanks for your ever so quick reply's!!!!

We'll be there 2 weeks from today and this is the exact reason we are going....my mom and I always wanted to see Disney decorated for Christmas. Can't wait!

Please give a report if you can when you return! :santa:

That's AMAZING!!! Wonder how many workers are there making the changes!!!

Love this video. Its the first thing that has gotten me super excited about our upcoming trip. Can't wait to see all the Christmas stuff again!

They will begin at the end of the party tonight to remove starting at the Mickey Floral area. Usually takes a couple of overnights, dependent on the weather, of course. Changeover should be complete for Monday park opening, 11/03.

Most of the decorations are down within 24 hours. We were there at the last Halloween Party (Friday night) and then visited Saturday evening last year and everything was already gone and the Christmas Decorations were up

My friends who did the college program during the fall semester said one of their favorite things to see what how the park literally changed overnight from Halloween to Christmas. The left work one night, came back the next morning and *BAM* - Christmas decorations were everywhere.

I remember I loved Halloween night in Disney because there would be tons of trucks lined up to both remove Halloween stuff and install Christmas stuff.

While I was on my way to MK last week I saw what appeared to be the MK Christmas tree sitting outside the warehouse. I can't wait to see it put together!

The MK Christmas tree is usually not installed until after the parade taping at the beginning of December.

It did look like the MK tree. It was sitting outside the Holiday Services warehouse. Not sure where it went, but it's gone now.

Cool!

It's nice of Disney to keep castle lights cycling all night ;)
(Or is that every night? I've never had a MK view room)
We had our first Deluxe splurge with a short stay at BLT at the end of September. I can't say if the castle's sequential lighting lasted all night, but I woke early some mornings and I was watching them putting the Astro Orbiter ride back together. (It had been removed, worked on, then put back up.) In the background, the castle lights did change colors. Something else interesting was, there was a crane there doing the Astro Orbiter work, then it would go away by park opening time, and come back out the next night. They were working on the Astro Orbiter lighting sequences, so I can't say if the castle was running their lighting cycles in conjunction with that work, or if it's every night. Same with the time-lapse video. Maybe the castle lighting was because of the new holiday decoration going on, and not every night. Someone else might know more.
