I can't get the search to work! I think I found that it is 316 square feet. Can anyone translate this for me. I have stayed at studios at the BWV and SSR and the BCV. I know it is smaller, but how much smaller?

It's about the size of a Port Orleans French Quarter room. But, you have a balcony in an Animal Kingdom Lodge value studio.

Most WDW studios are about 356 sq. ft., that is BWV, BCV, VWL, and SSR. OKW is slightly larger. AKV value studios are 'modified' standard AKL rooms, about 315 sq ft. The stamdard and savanah view are the 'old' deluxe rooms, about 380 sq ft. This is only for Jambo House (modified AKL rooms) I am going from memory, so I may be off a little.

Hope this helps.

It also seems smaller because I think the furniture is the same as in the savannah view studio we stayed in in September. Having the balcony was wonderful, and we even had a savannah view. I would stay again, and I have booked a value one bedroom for June.

Correct me if I am wrong, please....

We have a savannah view studio booked (DVC members) for April. It will be about 380 square feet? How does that compare to Pop Century or POFQ?

the regular room is definitely bigger.

the 314 - you need to count the hallway and kitchennett in the studios - that is why it looks and feels smaller.

But a value studio would be fine for 2 adults, right? DW and i will be in a 1 br value in July. The value points just can't be beat!

According to the AKV Accommodations page on the public DVC website, Value studios are 316 sq ft, non-Value studios in Jambo House are 365 sq ft and Kidani studios will be 366 sq ft.

In Jambo House the Value and non-Value studios are the same width but the Values are about 3-3.5 feet shorter. The bathroom and kitchenette areas are the same size. The difference is in the length of the living/sleeping area.

We had a value studio for one night last month - It was great! I was actually preparing myself for a tiny little room, It really didnt feel all that small to me, It was a wonderful room. But there were only the two of us. I was told by a lady through MS that they recommend a family of four get the standard size room.
Next time me and DH go I will forsure get a value to save on the points!

We were just in one and there was no closet and very little drawer space-are they all like that?
