(I had to mention the pics, we all know it's fun to be nosey! ;))

We are finally getting around to decorating our master bedroom :worship:

First, we found some prints that we love, then we found frames that we love (and it only took about three months ), but now we can't figure out which way we want to hang them on the wall.

These are the prints, they are 5x7...

We have a few ideas, which I have shared below, x representing each frame...

Let's call them, A, B, C, D, and E. :thumbsup2

(If you can understand that, you are awesome! :teacher:)

DH and I are totally stumped.

Your opinions, please!

i like 2 as well.

we had a wall like that and i bought a small roll of butcher paper. rolled it on the floor. i had to cut 2 the same length to give me the height i needed.

then layed out the pics on the paper on the floor. once i got them the way i wanted, i took a marker and traced around it.

took some tape and hung the paper on the wall and then i knew where to hammer the nails in.

i forgot where i learned that tip, but it's the best i've ever found!

I would say B as well! But maybe the top and bottom pictures should be level with the window frame. Hope that makes sense...

I guess I have to be different... I think straight up and down would be pretty.

I would do A, but on a shelf/ledge. Maybe they aren't really, but I think they're too small for that space and needs a little something more to 'pop'.

Be careful about hanging them too far apart since they're so small.

You can cut appropriate sizes out of newspaper and put them on the wall with masking tape to get a good idea how an artwork arrangement will look.

tar heel's idea is good

I agree with GreatDaneMom - somehow option 3 looks better. I also agree with VickiVM, they're a tad small for the space :(. Any chance of a larger table lamp? Option 3 would work even better that way.

Whatever you decide, hang the middle of the middle picture at 66" from the floor. The frames are 12" x 9", right? You could probably get away with a six inch space between the bottom of one frame and the top of the next, and nine inches between each 'column' if you decide to hang them on a slant.

I agree-they are way too small for that space. If you got 3 more it would be better or like Vicki said, put them on shelves with other stuff.

I was thinking they were too small, too, but didn't want to say it.

About x_x_x, but over the headboard instead? I also like the "on a shelf with other items" idea.

what if you get a decorative curtain rod and hang it on the wall and attach the frames with a different length ribbon?

I am on the to small for space fence too. I like the shelf idea.
Pretty pics.

They are really not too small for the space if you see them against the wall... But I love the shelf idea! DH is going to kill me when he finds out he will be hanging shelves LOL! Off to shop for shelves!
