How scary is Revenge of the Mummy?

bumping in hopes that someone can describe the bugs? I don't like bugs!!!

I"m hoping to try this ride next week!!

I keep forgetting we're going at the same time! You've been so helpful for my trip planning. Can you believe it...we're only days away now!!!!

I'm still a toss up on whether we'll have ds try the mummy. He's funny about what he likes/dislikes. Really into volcanoes, twisters, earthquakes, spooky monsters...READING....but being on a ride w/ any of them....not so sure. :confused3 He's 6. Likes Haunted Mansion, but doesn't want to try Tower of Terror. Doesn't like big drops. LOVES all the Disney Mtns...so I thought this might be a good next step. But maybe we'll see how he handles the horror make up show.

And THANK YOU for the heads-up on what the mummies say about sucking the life out of you. If ds heard and believed that dh and I would never sleep alone again!! :earseek:

The motion of the ride is not scary (which a lot of people talked about), and I agree with them.

However, few people mentioned the mood. To me, the crawling beetles, yelling skulls, hot fire, and more were pretty mood-scary to me... especially for a kid.

What is the seating like on the Mummy??? Do you sit 2 to a car 1 behind the other? 2 to a car next to each other? Is it a bigger car w/ even more people sitting behind and beside you? :confused3

Ds adds:   :Pinkbounc

Thank you!!!!

I think it was 3 or 4 across....you could put the boy in the middle, he wouldntbe alone at all.

I have never rode it but my cousin and uncle have. They both went on the Tower of Terror and loved it. My uncle can NOT ride spinning rides with out getting sick. They said it wasn't "scary". They said they enjoyed it but that they would not recomend someone like me too go on. I refused to even try the Tower of Terror and I won't go on any rides with upside down flipps in them. But I do enjoy simulators. They said if you like almost any ride then you would pretty much like this but with what your telling me about him I am not recommending it for him to try unless he is begging to go on it. ThenI don't see why he can't.

Well, my son walked onto Revenge of the Mummy, holding his father's hand and shaking like a leaf. He came off all excited and rode it about 8 more times. He left the park whining to "ride it just one more time, pleeeeeeeease!".
