I woke up this morning and I could smell the coffee in the kitchen, DH brought it up to me, but I was in one of those awake/sleep modes, and I was dreaming about drinking my early morning coffee on my Verandah!!! And I haven't even been on the darn ship yet!! I'm becoming obsessed with this cruise it's impossible to keep it from the kids, because I always want to blurt out something else I learned from these boards!! Like that quiet deck 7!!!

This is hilarious. Sounds like a dream I would have, like the dreams that I am back in college but have "forgotten" to go to class for two months.

I used to have it in college and even in the years afterwards. The one where I lost the schedule they give you day one and didn't realize that I had a class and missed it for most of the semester!! Wonder what that means?

Wow - I thought it was just me, I have this dream over and over that I arrived at school (high school), hadn't been to class in months, couldn't remember my locker combo, and was put back with the freshman and I was a senior? Never understood the dream?

I often dream of my favorite "happy place", which is a hammock on Serenity Beach. Mmmmmm, and a nice rummy drink.

I've been having crazy cruise dreams too! The last one that I had I forgot to leave out clothes to wear on the last day and had to go to breakfast and disembark in my pajamas!

I've had a variation on the cruise dream and the college class dream. I'm checking my calendar on Outlook and I suddenly discover that we have a cruise the next day! We haven't packed! We haven't made travel plans to get to the port! We haven't studied to determine which shore excursions we should pack! We haven't made our hotel reservations! We have to find our passports!

I had the school dream recently for the first time I can remember. Could not find my locker, classroom, schedule, anything.....

Another I get is that I will forget a patient. I do pediatric homecare physical therapy and fear I will forget a kid. One day I actually did. I was so embarrassed. We had changed the day of his visit and I forgot until two hours later.

But, I never dreamed I would forget the cruise. I hope I never dream that. How horrid I tell people that if I found out I could leave for a DCL cruise as soon as I was ready, I would use the bathroom, get my toothbrush and get in the car. Sometimes I would not even take the time for the toothbrush, I would just plan to buy one on the ship.

but I always dream that I wake up late and either miss the flight or that the ship sails off without us because we don't make it to the pier in time. I never get any sleep the night before because I am too paranoid that I will sleep through my alarm clock. It's just awful!

I woke Michael up once and he said, "Aw, gee, Mom, I was dreaming that I was on the verandah and just about to have a bite of pizza and you had to wake me up! Couldn't you wait til I ate it all?"
