How rude and Selfish Is This?!?!?!?

Is the OP a teenager still living at home? I'm trying to put the pieces together of all these threads and that's as close as I have come. What am I missing?

What comes around goes around. She will get hers someday.

OP - I would say something to the person stealing the food. If that doesn't do any good, and I knew the other people who donated food, I would let them know. I would not stand by and say nothing if I saw someone stealing.

Now you won't tell anyone how you know the person is stealing the food. Were you in this person's house while she took food out of the bags and put them in her cupboard? Were you at work and saw them putting things in a bag they carried home?

I really don't understand why you are so evasive here. The only thing I can come up with is that you saw your mother doing this. If that is the case, you should still let her know you think it is wrong. You might not be able to change her behavior (whoever it is) but you can let the person know it is stealing. I would be very mad if I gave items to someone to take to a food bank and she stole the items.

She was upset because she had made some of the cooked pudding and her dad went behind her back and ate it all. All of it!!!! And she is the one who bought the package and the milk and she is the one who made it too.

Well that's bad form. Maybe he thought his wife made it. :confused3 Although in that case, it would have been labeled, and not with his name.

The OP is a 24 year old college graduate who pays "rent" to live in her own bedroom in her parent's house while she works as a cashier (but higher than just a cashier) at a grocery store. She has a black fiance who is about 35, who also does not live on his own. They cannot afford to get an apartment together. Her dad abuses her discount at work, eats her pudding, eats her left overs from going out do dinner with the fiance, he did something that would get her dog sick (sorry I forget exactly what this was) andshe has been fired twice in jobs associated with her degree. She thinks those who pay back their student loans until they are 30 are stupid. They might be living on their own and paying their own way, but those student loans. All this from threads she started.

It did not have any name on the cooked pudding, so maybe he figured it was free game.:confused3

Well I must be stupid, because I paid back my student loans until I was thirty something.

Yes I am. I then put the food money into my Disney fund. We are going top of the line for a month later this year. It is a real budget stretcher. You should try it.:thumbsup2

The school my daughter attends has a thrift store. The Mother's Club staffs it. Some of the mothers who work there go through the stuff and buy what they like. Everything is .25. This is so the poor can afford the things not so the moms can mooch it.

I'm caught up now, thanks. :) Saves time from looking up a lot of threads!

Wow OP you must think I'm a real idiot. Just finished my MBA (4.0 BTW) and have major student loans to pay as I have lived on my own since I was 18 and I'm 33  :rolleyes1

At 24 this is rediculous. Grow up and then tell us how rude and shelfish :rotfl: other people are

Alright.. I kept my mouth shut on the actual pudding thread itself but I'd be pretty ticked over that one too. Come on.. cut disneyfav4ever some slack on that one ... who wouldn't be ticked if someone ate all the food that you purchased and prepared yourself before you got any of it?

Alright.. back to :surfweb:

it continues eh?

Honestly, nope I'd just fixed another box of pudding ;)

My dad better keep his mitts OFF my pudding if he knows what's good for him!

Oh, sorry, did my repressed anger show?
