How quickly will Wish maiden sell out?

Travel agents and YouTubers will book on day one, will be lots people walking around making videos. Hopefully DCL has restrictions in place to prevent scalping. Might be a way for someone to add and remove people before sailing at a profit.

This will be the Maiden voyage open to the public.... but it won't be the first sailing of the Wish. Media, some influencers and travel "people" will be sailing before the public gets a chance on the one or two shake down cruise they do before the Maiden voyage. I'm sure there will be YouTubers who don't get invited on the Maiden as well.... looking for ways to get hits.

Maybe they'll offer it by category first or number of sailings there too.

Even those eligible today can't really see because the booking today is only by phone. But what can tell is that the "regular" concierge rooms are all gone and only one very very pricey room remains in concierge category for around $50K (likely Tower suite).

Otherwise, inside, OV and Verandah are all still available. So are rooms that sleep 5. Not bad actually--staggering the platinums is starting to look like a sensible way to control phone volume but I doubt it will make it impossible for other platinums to book

The availability and pricing has been jumping all over the place today. Screen shots have shown things changing wildly from moment to moment.
No changes to pricing on non-maiden voyage dates as of yet (though I don't know how accurate the website is until it goes live on Thursday).

I'm not sure that's correct I'm pretty sure the 3-night cruise ending on the 4th of July went up from when I first looked at it, at least in the categories that can sleep 5 since that is what I search for, though I'm not sure if that is because a category got sold out or if the price actually went up for the same category.

I'm just basing it off the website cruise date listing where it shows the lowest available price by category (Inside, Outside, Verandah, Concierge). I didn't look at actual categories (4A vs. 4B, etc.). Mine was for 3 guests in the room.

That date is the same as the prior 3-day still. But if you need a room for 5, that could be true it's changed as that wouldn't be the lowest possible fare in the category.

I've been keeping track too, we are 5 hoping to book 3A during silver, and the "lowest" concierge price has gone up by $500for the one we are hoping for. Every other sailing has gone up as well. I'm assuming not all 3B have sold out on all cruises already so I'm just going to say everything has gone up.

I think that what you are going to see until the public offering is prices appearing to "go up" after the lowest category within the category sells out. I suspect prices will remain pretty constant for a while consistent with the initial offering but lower priced cabins, and perhaps concierge, will become harder to find.

I do now see a slightly higher price for the 7/4 cruise on the lowest available price (based on 3 guests) by room type as compared to the prior couple of cruises. It has come up some.
I'm curious how many people are in for the maiden and if it's full decide to forego any cruise on the Wish for the summer season.

This will be us; I'm hoping to book the maiden on Thursday but not holding my breath. If we can't then I don't really mind much when we sail. It wouldn't make much sense to pay for the summer premium versus a later sailing for us since we can travel anytime.

We were able to book the MV this morning at the price listed on their website. The room we wanted was available as were others we questioned to see costs. We were also able to get Main dining which is usually a sign of availability. We also booked for September. I was surprised rooms we wanted were not available.

I may be in the minority, but with so many platinum guests on the maiden voyage, won't it be relatively impossible to get a palo reservation and use that benefit?
I'm also assuming lines for the new features will be crazy.
I was on the maiden Dream voyage and while it was cool, the experience did not live up to the hype for me. Just my two cents.

That's really interesting that you had more availability for the MV than for a cruise in September, but I guess that makes sense given the MV cancellation restrictions are probably a deterrent for many.

The pricing once you hit Labor Day is significantly cheaper (like close to half as much from June on a 4-day in some scenarios). If you have that flexibility and are just looking to get on the ship at some point, that's the way to go. If we didn't have a fall athlete, we'd look for end of August for similar reasons (not nearly the same price break, but something).

I feel your scheduling pain. We are a cheer family and literally have 1 week in summer where we can travel. I’m really hoping to book that week with the room we want. If not, I think we will try for the dream out of Miami. We are already rescheduling from spring break due to conflicts with scheduling.
