The pricing once you hit Labor Day is significantly cheaper (like close to half as much from June on a 4-day in some scenarios). If you have that flexibility and are just looking to get on the ship at some point, that's the way to go. If we didn't have a fall athlete, we'd look for end of August for similar reasons (not nearly the same price break, but something).
The September cruises are dirt cheap (Disney dirt anyway).
