How quickly does the Oct 31st MNSSHP sell out?

We will arrive in Orlando on the 30th(well by the time were arrive at WDW it will be the 31st).
When will tickets go on sale?
Has the party on the 31st ever sold out on pre-sales(Disney Visa/AP)?
How quickly does it sell out?

Sells midsummer, sells out a month or so later? (I think. Don't quote me.) Either way, when it goes on sale, buy your tickets.

MNSSHP dates are announced on May 1st. Better plan to purchase tickets by mid-May b/c they sell out very fast. The last one or two days before Oct. 31st sell out fast, too. Maybe within 1-2 months. This year Halloween is on a Saturday, and there's usually a Friday MNSSHP party. I expect both those dates to sell out very quickly because they're weekend dates.

Agreed with everyone else's opinions. If I knew for sure that our family was going to be attending the MNSSHP on Halloween, I would try and purchase the tickets as close to when they go on sale as possible. That particular night has sold out for the past several years and being that it's a Saturday night this year - I think it'll sell out even faster.

There's no way that it'll sell out via pre-sell though. That I wouldn't be worried about.

While I agree if you know you are going, you should just buy the tickets when they come out, those parties do not sell out as quickly as others are leading you to believe. Halloween night sold out Aug 21, 2014, which is actually very early compared to previous years. Oct. 30 sold out Oct 2, 2014 and the 28th sold out on Oct. 19th.

They don't do pre-sales for Disney Visa or AP for party tickets. Some dates have discounts for pre-purchasing (which just means purchasing before the date of the party) and some dates also have an AP discount, but Halloween itself is never discounted.

Ok perfect.
Am happy to buy them when they come out, was just worried they may sell out in a few hours and I might miss it.
We are also doing MVMCP but we are likely to have a couple of more dates available.
