Every time I go down to Disney, it seems like every other person you meet is from New Jersey - myself included. For the life of me, aside from population density, I can't figure out why this is the case. The one thing about New Jersey is that there is no shortage of things to do:
1) New York City is minutes away for many NJ residents.
2) Philadelphia is minutes away for many others.
3) Broadway
4) Yankees, Mets, Devils, Rangers, Giants, Jets, Nets, Rutgers, minor league ball, and more
5) Beaches galore.
6) Six Flags, Mountain Creek, and other theme parks a short ride away
7) Cruise ships leave directly from Bayonne
8) Major international airports can take people anywhere they want to go
I am sure that I am missing a ton of things. While I am not surprised at ANYONE wanting to go to Disney, I am just surprised that New Jersey residents go there in such numbers.
