...when you first visited WDW?

The "older adult" thread got me thinking. Our trip next year will be shortly after my 49th birthday, and it will be the very first time I visit WDW! I've been to DL many, MANY times ~ the first trip was when I was in grade school. But this WDW vacation has got me so excited!!! :woohoo:

It will be the rest of my family's first trip too. DH will be a few months shy of his 44th birthday. My older DD will be shy of her 21st birthday, and my younger DD will be shy of her 11th birthday.

We went for the first time in 2006 and I was 29 DH was 26 and DD was 9.
It was a great trip and now we're only a few weeks away from our third trip :yay:

I was 24 back in 1996...

No matter how old you are, prepare to be a kid again as soon as you enter the turnstyles :goodvibes

i was 50. christmas 2004. been back twice. go to dlr a lot more

My first trip was in 1972 and I had just turned 18 . . . left college to go live on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale:hippie: and WDW was the new thing!:thumbsup2
Aaaaaahhh:goodvibes those were great days - sometimes they seem like yesterday - sometimes they seem like a past lifetime;). The best part is I still have best friends in my life from those days - and of course I still enjoy my love for WDW.

I think I was 33, it was our 1st. Disney trip back when there was only the MK. Maybe 81 or 82.

We did Disney, Bush Gardens and the Wax Museum. I know we did some other things but can't remember. Stayed at Cocoa Beach back then. We returned a few years later after Epcot opened.

1972 - 11 years old -

Wow have I really been a disney kid this long. I will be 50 next year OMG:rotfl:
Each trip to the mouse is different, But I still get so excited :banana:when we pass the Mouse shaped power lines, It brings back all the great memories that I have, and looking forward to the one's yet to be made.

Is it worth the $$$, all the hours of planning, yes it is....priceless:cloud9:

Have a great time give us a trip report when your trip is over.

My first visit to the Magic Kingdom was in 1980, when I was 29 years old. I did go to Disneyland when I was 17. A LONG time ago :)

Was 25 back in 93, have been multiple times since, and joined DVC in 03. Time flies when your having fun.

I was 3 during my first trip to the world, 11 for my first trip to land!

I was 21 and cried going across the lagoon on the ferry. Still cry every time I first walk up Main Street and when we take ME back to the airport. Always think it will be the last time I am there.

I was February 1983 and I was 34 years old. I was hooked as I drove on World Drive and tuned into the radio broadcasts that they used to transmit.

Disneyland was September 2005 and I was 57 and yet I remember watching the Grand Opening on TV.

Disneyland = 1 trip

Walt Disney World = 28 trips since 1983.

I was 21 or 22 and don't kick me off the DIS, but I didn't have fun at all my first trip!:confused3

I was 38 the next time I went and fell in love with everything. In 3 years I've been to WDW twice, DL once, bought into DVC and have our third trip to WDW planned. For someone who didn't have fun the first time, I "got it" on the second trip! :rotfl2:

I was 19 and my first trip was with my then-boyfriend's parents and sister. We got engaged there. Our next trip was over 20 years later.

13 back in 1977. I remember riding 2000 leagues under the sea and I wouldn't look out the porthole, I was afraid a giant squid eye was going to be there! I don't do well in the ocean still!
