How old were you when you had your first child?

I was 34 years old when I had my first, my son Connor.
I just had my daughter the day before my 37th birthday.

And, we're done! I might have had kids sooner, but I didn't marry Prince Charming until I was 32 and I wanted to be married when I had kids. I could never go it alone!

27 when 1st dd was born. (She was planned and a major miracle as we had lost two babies before her.)

30 when 2nd dd was born. (She was planned too! )

37 when ds was born. (He was a major surprise as we were told we could no longer conceive after 2nd dd.)

I was 19 and in college (which I managed to finish anyway). My second and third were at 32. All of my friends were childless until around their early 30's.

Not for 6 more years. It's all part of the master plan, have to get through medical school, sell the townhouse we plan on buying in 2 months. We have to find a sperm donor, figure out which one of us is going to be pregnant, hopefully dear SO.

I was 17 when I found out I was going to be a mom. I got pregnant in what would have been my senior year of high school. DS came at 20 and my youngest DD at 26. I'm living my life backwards. I had all my children, then I got married, then I went to college. Now, for the first time, I'm going on spring break. I wonder if potty training will be next.

I wanted to be done having babies by the time I was 30. I sent Dh to get the snip snip and now it is smooth sailing....

I was 23 with DD#1, 25 with DD#2, 27 with DS and 28 with DD#3.

I had my tubes tied on my 29th birthday. I was all done. I wanted to have all my children by the time I was 30. It makes it nice as all my children are grown and now I'm young enough to enjoy playing with my grandchildren. I have one granddaughter who is 1, and 2 more on the way by the end of summer.

I sent Dh to get the snip snip and now it is smooth sailing....

I got a lapriscopic (sp?) histerectomy and it is smooooothing sailing for me!!! No more friends ( ya know what I mean)

Except my daughter is of age now.

I knew before I had children I had stuff to do. I received my college education, married a wonderful person, became a teacher, and got a house before I had kids. It was important for me to be a SAHM so I wanted us to be on our feet first.

There was an unexpected struggle with infertility, and was able to have my prince DS at 31. Then I got pregnant again when he was 9mths, and had my next little prince at 33. I am turning 35 this Thursday, and I have been to the doctor's to make sure that everything's good to go for number 3!

My children are the most precious treasures and I am so blessed that everything worked out the way it did.

My DF had twins via sperm donation. Good luck when the time comes!

So happy to see all these women my age having their FIRST child! I'm going to be 36 in July and don't have my first. However, I'm starting to get the "desire" to have one and before I'm 40. I see all these pregnant women and I go wow...how awesome! What a blessing to have a little life growing inside of you created by you and the one you love. I'm not on birth control because I don't want children, I'm on birth control because I have fibroids and it controls my bleeding. One day, DH and I will have a little one. I would love to have a little boy to grow up and be just like his daddy. My DH has come a loooooooooong way over the 15 years we've been married and for a son to look at him and say dad, I want to live the life you and mom are living now with my wife when I get married, would do my heart good! One day....one day.......

I was 28 when I had DS and 30 when I had DD.

Both kids were planned -- we waited until DH and I had been married a couple of years before trying to have a baby and then wanted to have baby number 2 close enough in age so that they would be able to play together.

I just had my tubes tied at 32.

I'm the oldest so far: one month shy of my 44th birthday.

We kept saying next year until I heard the clock really ticking, and then couldn't get pregnant. Three years and several infertility doctors later, we had DS. Of course, everyone thought we weren't having kids, and that he was an oops!

We did it backwards, we traveled, started a business, paid off our house, and now I am a SAHM.
