another teen romance here! I was 15 and he was 19, but we didn't date for another year when he was 20 and I was 16, we got married 3 years later. Our 30th anniversary was in June!

I know people are having a cow over Miley and her boyfriend because she is 16 and he is 20, but 30 years ago it wasn't that uncommon.

I was thinking the same thing when I read your post. It wasn;t uncommon for there to be an age gap in the past that nowadays freeks people out. My Grandparents have been married for more then 50 years, and they have a 7 year gap between their ages!

I first met my husband when I was 6 and he was 11. We were neighbors. We re-met when I was 19 and he was 24 and we were both living at our parents' houses again for various different reasons. We have been married for 12 years.

DH and I had our first date when I was 14 and he was 13. It was homecoming our Freshman year.... We have been happily married for 25 years now!

14. He moved to my school in 9th grade. Our first date I was 15 and he was 16. We dated for 8 years, and have been married for 13 years this month (but together for almost 21).

*When I got in from work today he had hung mistletoe over the bed. No regrets about falling in love so young for me!
