I am wondering if I purchase an add-on, can I put my 20 year old on the deed or does he have to be 21? I figured someone on here will know! Thanks!

I would call DVC to make sure. But when I go to the www.disneyvacationclub.com website they have this disclaimer when trying to obtain information via their toll free number:

If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.

Seems to me if you have to be 18 to obtain information, maybe you only have to be 18 to have your name on the deed. :confused3

I think 18 is the required age, but you should be cautious when adding others to your deed. Since they would be an owner of record, should they suffer any financial difficulties later that asset could be lost during any "solution" to the difficulty.

Just something to consider.

I would be reluctant to put a 20 year old on my deed. Even tho your child may seem very stable, too many things can happen and you could loose your DVC membership or have to buy out his half.

If you put him on as an associate, he can still make reservations, but you will still be the owner, and thus will not have the disadvantages should he have financial hardship.
