I just want to say good luck with this.Mentally I feel the same as I did when I was in my teens and twenties. Physically, about 112. I see my doctor tomorrow the start the process (which is a long one) for bariatric surgery. I'm no spring chicken, but a lot of my physical ailments come from being...I hate to say 'obese,' but I guess if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck.
Wishing you much success.I feel like a sundowning dementia patient ready for my Haldol.Right now like a 3 year old overdue for a nap.

And somehow, you are not writing Valentines Day cards for Hallmark?I feel like a sundowning dementia patient ready for my Haldol.
Question... How would you know that you don't feel you age when you have never been your age before? I've been contemplating that for a few years now. My mind says I'm in my 20's but my body says I'm 74. Since I have my birth certificate handy I can tell easily which one is correct.I really don't feel what age I am at all. Never felt young, never felt old, never felt a particular age. I certainly can see I'm getting older. And I feel some of the effects of getting older. But I've never felt my age.
