How old do you feel (inspired by the older mom thread)?

I will be 36 in three weeks. Do I feel 36 (or 35), no I don't. I don't feel all that much different than I did in my 20's, however I do feel more worldly and informed. Now my body is a different story, every year it changes a little more and I notice that it isn't the way it was when I was in my 20's, but that is all part of the aging process so I just deal with it.

Seeing I'm probably another of the oldest here on the Dis. It depends! Some days I feel young and invincible. Other days I feel my age.

Although in the eyes of my Grandchildren I'm told I'm old, somehow I don't feel old. Every now and then my 12 year old Grandson tell me I'm cool. Quite a compliment, but I think age plays a big part in being cool. Mother have to be in control, Grandparents can just have fun.
I guess it comes down to, if you feel and think old, thats what you will be. I think I feel like a very young 56 and depending on the day I could be 30, 40 or maybe even 20 on some days. Dream on. lol.

At the beginning of the week I had a "senior" moment when I completely forgot a meeting. Yesterday I had a menopausal moment...which I won't get into right now ......and today I feel like I'm not a day over 29!!!

Hmm... hard question.. I always feel older than my actual age (32)

i got married young, (20), had kids young (24/27), and now at 32 just had my anniversary (11 years!)

I've done a lot of living, and a lot of life experience learning.

My DH is older (40), so a lot of people are shocked when I tell them that I am younger.

Age is completely in your head, IMO. I am approaching 33. Honestly, I feel essentially like I did at 25. (that's a good thing, by the way!! )

I'll be 49 next month. I have a really hard time convincing myself that I'm that old. I never feel that old. Most days I still think of myself as being 20 something. My kids are 15 and 11.

Actually, my personal opinion is that age isn't a state of mind but rather a state of health. I suffered from severe anemia about 7 years ago and my dd and I always talk about what it was like during that time. I definately felt very old, tired, and just plain worn out. My anemia was corrected (for the most part) years ago and I have felt much younger ever since. I'm not sure what 36 is supposed to feel like but if this is it, It ain't half bad, lol.

I'll be 33 in a couple of weeks. Some days I feel like I'm 962. I love the days when I feel like I'm 5 yo. I rarely have those carefree days though. Most of the time I feel like an almost 33 yo.

I'm 46 and I feel and look better than I did 10 years ago... that's when I had Michael!

There's somethng about having a child that keeps me young! We have alot of the same interests and in alot of ways HE'S older than me!

Well...I'm 40 but I don't look like or act like my mom did when she was 40. Back then (I was in college), it seemed old to me. Now it doesn't.

I don't know how I'm SUPPOSED to feel since I've never been 40 before -- although some posters on the DB think I should feel decrepit and tired and cranky. I don't feel any different than I did when I was 30 except I'm not as tired as I was then because I have better balance in my life (no more partying until 3 a.m. and getting to work by 7:30 a.m. to work until about 7 p.m. and head out partying again).

Many people were surprised when I turned 40 this year. Most didn't know I was "that old" and some didn't believe me. I'm not sure if this is because I don't look my age or act my age...although I hope it's the former
