How old are you?

I was on VMK earlier talking to someone and they could not believe how "old" I am. LOL! I mentioned that I had been on dis boards for five years and that led to him asking how old I was. I know...not allowed on VMK. He even asked "Why are you playing kid's game?" I told him that there were probably a lot more older people playing VMK than he realized, so I thought I'd ask the DIS to make sure I'm not the only old person playing a kid's game.

ETA: I'm 26

ETA2: I just realized that I didn't do the poll right and there is some overlap. Oh well. I can still see that I'm not the only old person playing. That's all that matters! lol

I was in a room last week with a bunch of Dis and one player couldn't believe why all us "old" people were playing a kids game. We told him the same thing, that the kids would be surprised how many of us lame old folks are playing.

I told him that it's because I heart WDW, like to visit with my dis boards friends, and because it's something to do to pass the time.

LOL! I try to not to get on when DS2 is home, but if I do and he sees the screen, he always asks to see the boat, ie the Jungle Cruise game.

I voted my age to be 31, and I don't care who knows.

At first I was hesitant to sign up for VMK, but after getting support from my sister who, in her exact terms, is "like a kid", and who also has children who play for her too, then I don't feel so bad.

I still say that Disney should create its own chat server for "lame, old" folks like us where we can be free to discuss whatever we feel like, within considerable boundaries, and without the unneccesary luxury of "kids". I mean, isn't this how we treat VMK, even with the accursed dictionary? I mean, just imagine being able to use numbers, and locations, and call dairy products by their names.

Mal, you are by no means the oldest! I have always loved Disney, and I don't care how old I am, I still love to play games. I have about a 50/50 child to adult ratio in my friends list. I play with the younger set generally during the day (where else can you play with a stranger's children, as an adult?) and have a blast. I have waitressed, hide n seek, falling chairs, races...I do have to admit I am not good at those races, how come vmk won't let me bring my wheelchair in?! lol

In the evening, I meet up with the adults for chat and some laughs.

Oh, Mal, it is wonderful to see a fellow adult ACer (Animal Crossing)!

I am not really "old" or "young." I just turned 23, but I'm already graduated from college and got married, so... I guess I'm supposed to be an adult now. I love Disney parks (and stuff) more than ever though!

Uh, 37 here - which is the oldest among the posts I have seen thus far (except for the actual poll), unless Mal is willing to reveal her age! I'm improving in fireworks, thanks to WDWTigger's tips. I bought a new mouse and my score went up 20,000 almost immediately. I can hit 233, but that's it. My computer is nearly as old as I am, so I like to blame it for my poor performance!

I have been saying this forever...but I realized something...

kids will always figure a way onto the "adult" version. If there's something they're not supposed to have, they will want it even more. All it would take is a faked birthday.

I want it too, believe me.

I wonder, though, what a poll similar to this would show on another particular board where the posts tend to look like this:
