I agree, it's pointless to go back and forth like this, but i'm not even sure why you're bringing up a lot of it. first off, it's moot about a 14 year old because WDW posts the minimum age for the position in question is 16 although you insist it's 18, which is your prerogative, but it's neither the case, nor a question of the law because if they had to theoretically post a minimum of 16 for legal reasons (which they don't, but you insisted they did), then why post the age requirement at all? especially when it's above the age minimum to work in the state of FL?
so given that the position in question really does have an age minimum of 16, despite what you feel cast members' ages are (and if you really can accurately guess the age of a friend of Daisy for example, I will bow to your perception skills), it doesn't matter that the
potential age minimum is 14. And while there are restrictions for a 14 and 15 year old to work in Florida (but being able to work only in grocery stores is NOT one of them), it's probably more likely that Disney doesn't wish to (a) entertain the additional restrictions and (b) insurance probably disallows anyone under the age of 16.
so bottom line, if Disney legally wanted to make the age minimum 18, they could. they could make it 25. that's their legal right to decide as age is not a protected status below 40. but it wouldn't make good business sense for them to do so.
and just as a matter of record, FL child labor laws:
