How often should I call for AAA Poly rates?

Called last night for AAA Poly Garden view last night for early 12/08. None available. So, I reserved 7 nights at regular rate. How often should I call back to check on AAA room availability?

I was told that only a set number of rooms for each type of discount are set aside, and once they're gone they're gone. If someone booked under that discount cancels, the room goes back into general inventory -- not back into that discount pool.

I hope for your sake that's not true, but that's what I was told.

I just got this morning a AAA room for my trip in 2 weeks at the Poly GV. I had WL woodsview and tried every once a week and today was the magic day! WOOHOO! I'm sure you will get it if you are persistant. Good luck!
