How often is your rubbish picked up,

I'm in Guelph, Ontario. Each house gets three bins: a green one for organic waste (food scraps, grass cutting, etc.), a blue one for recycling and a grey one for non-recyclable garbage. The green one is picked up every week, the grey and blue ones are picked up alternate weeks. So one week you put out green and blue, the next week you put out green and grey.

Once a week pickup for trash, recycling, and yard waste. Pickup is one day later when there is a major legal holiday.

Trash on Mondays. If Monday is a holiday, it's picked up on Tuesday,

Recycles on Tuesday. If Tuesday is a holiday, pickup is skipped that week. I think it was in 2015, recycles were skipped two weeks in a row, Election Day and Veterans Day.

Pickup for large items, furniture, appliances, etc. is the first full week of the month in my neighborhood. No set day during that week. Apparently the collectors for regular trash make note and inform the township that a bulk pickup is needed.

In autumn, they collect leaves twice, mid-November and mid-December. We need to rake them onto the edge of the road. Other times of year yard waste goes out with regular trash.

Tras every Tuesday morning. Recycling every other week. We met our driver at a car show and ever since he runs our dumpster up to the house for us.

Rubbish weekly - Recycling biweekly in our primary house

Vacation place is both weekly

Yes, same thing.

Wed. for garbage every week. Day later if it is a holiday.
Fri. for recycle every week. Day later if it is a holiday.
Yard waste goes in garbage.
Call for pickup for big items.

On large items like TVs, furniture, vacuums, kids bikes/play structures etc. if you set them out the night before almost always someone will come by and pick them up. My neighbor across the street now has my DH's old toolboxes and I saw my kids old Big Wheels in his garage sale. Hey, more power to him. If for some reason someone doesn't take it we'll slip the garbage dudes a few bucks and they'll take it. A lot of the time they'll just take it anyway. For large appliances there's a couple places that will come and take them off your hands for next to nothing. I've found that charity places don't want anything that isn't practically brand new.

Garbage once a week
Recycled: every other week
Big things, appliances, bushes, every other week as well. But if it is metal, there are a couple citizens in pick up trucks that take them.

Twice a week garbage. Once a week recycling alternating between comingled and paper. Once a week yard stuff. Once a month bill pickup. A couple times a year hazardous waste

Garbage twice a week
Recycling once a week
Bulk pick-up twice a month

We're once a week for trash and once a week for recycling. If recycling falls on a holiday (or anytime near Christmastime) it doesn't get rescheduled.

Right now it is trash once a week and recycling is every other. Condo Association voted last month to switch to twice a week trash and one a week recycling starting in June. We will also have yard waste pickup every other week from April until the end of October (why I don't know, lawn care does everything to being with). Big items need a special sticker from the trash company to be picked up, and run $20-$25 a sticker. On trash day the driver calls it in and a special truck comes and gets it.

Trash and Yard waste once a week and recycling is every other week. The only reason for the recycling being every other week is because my City does it versus contracting a company to do it. When I've lived in other cities in the metro but still in the same County recycling was picked up every week and a company was contracted to do the work. Both cases I've had the large recycling and trash containers on wheels.

My County also does a once a month household hazardous waste event where you can bring in for no charge, if you are a resident of the county, things like paint cans, motor oil, etc that you wouldn't be able to recycle in the normal way.

We have 3 bins...organics, recycling and garbage. Organics ( food scapes, food stained paper and garden waste) are collected every week. The other 2 catagories are every 2 weeks on a rotating schedule.

The bins are huge, on wheels and provided by the city.

Garbage is picked up once every two weeks and we are limited to 3 garbage bags/garbage bins. You are allowed to put out an additional 3 bags, but you have to purchase bag tags for those. Recycling and compost is once a week and you can put out as much as you want, there are no limits. Yard waste is collected once every two weeks, but not in winter.

Once a week for recycles and garbage. You are limited to one garbage can. But you can have several recycle bins (we've got 3).

For yard waste, you have to call them and schedule a pickup and use yard waste bags. My neighbor didn't realize that and her yard waste sat out front for 2 weeks before she called to see what the problem was.
Basic Garbage and yard waste pickup is part of our tax bill twice a year. The county started that a few years ago because alot of people were dumping their garbage anywhere rather than paying for pickup at their house.

If you have big stuff to be picked up like old furniture or old toilets or stuff like that, they charge 25.00 to come and pick it up. And you have to pay them via credit card before they will pick it up.
