How often do you use the ignore feature?

I've never used it because I am afraid that one day they are going to apologize and then I will miss it if I put them on ignore

I primarily use it for people who never discuss anything remotely Disney, and only post hateful, hardcore partisan stuff on political threads.

To answer the OP, I don't use the ignore feature... if someone really begins to irritate me that much it's a clear sign that I need to do something other than sit in front of the computer... I've found that the more time I spend getting nothing productive done (whether at home or work), the more irritating I find other people who post.

I do have a few people on mine. Yes, it is easy to skip the threads you don't want to read, but there are a couple of people who have to reply, and often more than once, on almost every thread on the CB, and I don't want to read what they post. And I don't open the replies of the people I ignore, unfortunately they get quoted and I get the pleasure of reading them anyway. I would love it if there was some magic code that would blank out the quotes, but so far that hasn't happened.

I have never used it and hope to never have to. I believe sometimes some of these posts get out of hand. But than I just don't read them. And even if I read them I just forget about them.
Every one has an opinion about something that is different than mine. But that is what makes us so different and unique.

I think Walt Disney would follow Monty Dog's advice today and not let it bug him.....and also, even tho Monty Dog has nothing to do with anything remotely Disney, I still love to see his stuff on the CB!

I put Dan Murphy on my ignore list once, to see what would happen to a posters posts if they were ignored... But I took him off the next day!

It was too frustrating seeing that Dan posted, but then I couldnt read what he wrote.... lol

Sorry, just the idea of someone putting Dan on an ignore list struck me as funny since he's like the nicest guy.

Nope, don't use the ignore feature here. I have put a few friends on ignore to "test it out" just so I could see what it is like. I figured it was kind of pointless since I could see that the person posted and I would read it anyway (I am sure)

I do "ignore" some posts here and there, but for the most part, I just don't let any one person get to me. A thread might bother me, but no one here is "bad" enough in my eyes to ever completely ignore (or even ignore most of the time).

I follow the absolute worst posters just to see if they will actually make it til election day w/o getting the boot. I'll be surprised if I see a couple after 11/2. The two I have on ignore aren't as much nasty as just annoying and tactless.

I have two people on my ignore list from years ago, and I don't really remember why. I just never bothered to take them off. Neither one posts very much, and it always surprises me when their posts show up in a thread I'm reading.
