How often do you talk/text to your spouse during the day?

The thread about the dh who was mad at his wife for not calling her got me thinking... How often do you talk to your partner during the day?

Dh will text me if we need to, but it is not an everyday thing. It is mostly about the kids and their schedules.

On the other hand my brother and his wife call or text each other all day long. He calls when he is on the road, he calls or texts when he gets to work.
I do not know how often he will call/text my SIL during the day, but she will often say he must be in a meeting because she has not heard from him. He calls when he leaves work and once he gets to a certain point on his travels home so she knows he will be home soon.

How about you, do you text/talk with each other all day??

Depends on the day and whats going on

We never text. We talk on the phone maybe once a month and exchange an email maybe twice a month.

Generally only if I need to. We know each other's schedule so it's generally only if schedule is changing.

Usually only when we need something or there is a schedule change. I might send a text for no reason but usually if I call there is a good reason.

We text when we need something, but not during the work day as DH works where you need a security clearance and can not have a cell phone at work. We usually email during the day, at least once, more if there is something to say. Phone ocassionally.

We dont call anymore lol. We text probably 20 times a day though.

I only call if I need to and rarely text him during the day. He is not allowed to use his cell phone on the job and if he gets caught he will get written up, and can get kicked off the job site. If it's important I will leave him a voice mail and he can call me on his break or lunch.

I think we talk a good bit during the day.. we both work 8-5 and we usually send 6-8 emails back and forth during the day, just little 'hows it going' type stuff. I have class every night from 6-9 and I usually text him on my break to see how things are going at home.

We usually send 1 or 2 texts per day. Sometimes I just text him sweet nothings but I'd never call him at work for that.

Neither of us can have our cell phones at work so no texting. Right now he is working nights and I"m working days so really no communication for us when at work.

We don't have a texting plan. I'm not a fan of texting, at all. We talk on the phone 3-5 times a day. Lunchtime, when he's leaves work for home, etc.

DH's phone does not have texting, so no texting. We talk maybe 3 days a week if the schedule changes for some reason. We may send 2 emails a month.
