How often do you sail DCL?

We've done 3 7-day ... May 2003, Nov. 2004, Nov. 2005. We have a 4-day booked for April 2007.

After our last 7-day, we were feeling that we were a bit over-loaded with "sameness" or perhaps we were just spoiled :teeth: Our first 2 cruises were EXTREMELY Magical and our 3rd felt a little like a let-down :confused3 We figured we'd take a break from the ship and head back to the parks ... a vacation for 2006 didn't really work for us, and now we're ready to get back on the ship again. A 4-day w/5 or 6 days at the parks is what we'll be doing in 2007. :cloud9:

We doing a B2B 9/30 & 10/07 which will be 7th & 8th. Going on B2B in feb 03 & feb 10 for 9 & 10. Will be doing day care for our new Grandson next year but hope to fit 1 or 2 more late next year and a family cruise in Jan 05, 2008. We're trying the Crown Princess 8/19/07 for the family since the Magic will be away. :cool1: :cheer2:

This will be our 6th ...no 5th,I keep making that mistake adding in a cruise we took in between. We are doing Christmas. Waiting to see what comes up for 2008...hoping for Alaska with Disney or Hawaii. for 2008. We try to sail every year. Have been on other cruises but keep coming back to Disney. We like the Family atmosphere about Disney...not alot of people Drunk, just more with a buzz and people on DC are more patient with kids. I also let my kids check them selves in and out of the Lab for half of the day and would no way do that on any other ship. Seems we all look out for each others kids. If anyone sees a child doing something they should not be doing there are always parents to say...hay dont climb on that... and hay...dont stand on the chairs. You know things like that. But of course my children are perfect and never would do anything like that when they are showing off with there friends ..lol..So that is why I keep sailing Disney...DC Rocks!!!! Also they have their vacation,we have our vacation, and we have a Family Vacation all wrapped into one. :)

We started off strong with 3 cruises in 12 months -- 11/01, 3/02, 11/02 -- then the checkbook dictated that we slow down. We succumbed to a really low last minute fare for a Carnival Cruise in 2003, then rebounded to take the Eastbound repo cruise 8/05. This year is a no-cruise year (so far, but I may surprise my family), but next year at least DD and I will be on the westbound repo cruise in 8/07.

So it's 4 DCL, 1 non-DCL, 1 DCL planned, with a couple of trips to Disneyland thrown in!

We have sailed "8" times, "3" Magic and "5" Wonder. We are allready planning
another for Easter 2007! It's like the second you see the ship from the intracoastal bridge, you think of nothing else.

we try to go every two years - which is all we can afford.

We did 3/2006, 3/2004, 12/2000, and 1/1999 ( I think).

We've only been once with Disney, this past January on a 3 day.
I've been on 2 other cruises, Carnival and RCCL.

We had a baby this past June... and won't be going in 2007, but I look forward to the next Disney Cruise - hopefully in January 2008 with our sons who will be 4.5 and 18 mos.

I've done:

August 1998 - 4 night Magic

July 2000 - 4 night Wonder

July 2003 - 7 night Magic Western

October 2006 - 4 night Wonder

I was a teenager traveling with my family the 1st 3 cruises, the one in October is going to be my first one as an adult. So, hopefully I'll get my bf hooked on it and go more frequently. Right now we go to WDW every 6 months or so, but I'd really like to alternate it with a cruise :)

We've done 3 DCL cruises- and a 4th coming up. I'd like to start doing one every year.

Eastrern Carribean-2001
Western Carribean- 2003
West Coast-2005

Med- July 2007

We'll be going on number 9, Oct, 28 on the Magic for 7 days. Trick-or-treat!
We've done 1 three day on the Wonder, 6 seven day ones on the Magic, and 1 fourteen day one on the Magic also.

We consider our DCL cruise to be an extended family therapy session each year. ;)

I love the way you put it. This is a good way of thinking about it. ;)

Hi,

Many times! Most recently in Feb. and sailing again in Dec.! :cool1:

Only 4 on the Magic starting in October 2003. I'd be happy to make it once or twice a year. C'mon lottery!

Sailed on the Magic's Maiden Voyage back on July 30, 1998 and have been hooked ever since....15 DCL cruises so far with No. 16 in November!!!

Just can't get enough of DCL!!!

And we are bringing 8 new cruisers to DCL with us and 10 return cruisers on our November cruise for a total of 18 people....I should get a referral rate!!!

Lucky number 13 coming up in 18 days! :cheer2:
This will be number 6 for our 4 year old granddaughter. Nothing like it......

After a little research I realized that this is not going to be lucky number 13!

We went on our 1st cruise in May 04 and we are going again in Nov 06.
