How often do you sail DCL?

Hello everyone out there! I was just curious how often you guys go on a Disney Cruise! We went May 30,2006 and booked again for end of April 2007! We had a great time (but can't wait until both children are over 3 to really enjoy spending more time with hubby)!! Just curious how often people can actually go!

I have sadly only been on DCL once, but my girlfriend has sailed DCL 3 times (the first 2 times she was with a female friend, and the 3rd time was with me). I would love to someday go on a 7 night DCL cruise, or at least another 4 night cruise, and get to spend another day with her at CC. Although, since she's now been on 3 Disney cruises, she wanted to try something new, so we booked a non-DCL cruise for next year (ironically enough, on the exact anniversary of our DCL cruise!), which I am sure that she and I will enjoy very much (and it is different enough from DCL that we're unlikely to be tempted to compare it, which is a good thing).

She said that if DCL launches a 3rd ship, she'll want to sail on it. But it seems that it will be from the west coast, which means no CC.

And, she does want to sail on the Magic or Wonder again sometime in the future. The only problem is that she plans to become a college professor, which means that all our vacations would have to be during school breaks, when the price is extremely high, the weather in the Bahamas and Carribbean is lousy, and the ship is overrun with kids. So, sadly, I have a bad feeling that I won't be seeing CC again any time soon. Althogh, I am very excited about our cruise next year!!

As of next year, it will be four sailings in five years.

We went on 4 night in January 2005; 4 night in February 2006 and will be leaving on 7 night on October 7 2006!

As of this moment it's been 5 times for me and 4 times each for DH and DD. Come Thanksgiving all three of us will have another sailing under our belts, and that's from Nov 2003 through Nov 2006. But after this Thanksgiving that'll be it for us and DCL for awhile. We have an NCL cruise next March and an RCCL cruise next June. After that nothing else scheduled (yet). We'll probably do DCL again in 2009 when DBIL and DSIL take thier granddaughter on her first DCL cruise (she'll be 7 at the time).

Our first cruise was to Bermuda on Royal Caribbean in 2003, but it's been DCL ever since!

2/2004 - 7 Day Eastern (Mardi Gras)

2/2007 - 7 Day Eastern (Mardi Gras)

This will possibly be our last for a while since my youngest will be almost 17 when we sail in February. After that cruise, it'll just be my DH and I so we'll be looking into RCCL.

Of course . . . if our grown children ever go on a cruise that they pay for themselves, we may join them to enjoy our grandchildren and their second DCL experience (we've taken each of our grown children and their children on their first DCL vacation).
