How often do you go to Disney?

We go 3+ times a year. Since both of our children have moved to the Orlando area, both me and my husband take three planned trips a year. We go for 10 days in May, 10 days in October and 2+ weeks in December (we are there for Christmas and come home a day or two after to miss the crowds. I also go for my birthday in August and stay 5 days. We both have APs but have not used them to the fullest the last year or two. We will renew when we are down there in December but will probably not renew after that. We don't go to the parks like we did when our children lived at home. We belong to DVC so we always have a place to stay with our points. We love everything Disney. We experienced the FP+ in October but were not interested in activating the bands because of not going to the parks. I did attempt to wear mine one day but didn't like how it felt on my wrist...I don't wear a watch, bracelet, etc. so I didn't like how it felt on my wrist. We don't open and close the parks when we are down there. We might go for an hour or two and then back to our resort. We have been to Disney 50plus times, therefore, it isn't necessary to do the parks every day when we go down. We like to resort hop, especially at Christmas to see the decorations, etc. If we had small children, the magic bands and FP+ would probably be something we would be interested in.

We've been going once-a-year for the past few years. That will probably stop once our son becomes too old to pull out of school, though.

We live in the local area (Tampa) so go 4-8 times a year, usually for 2-4 days at a time. We absolutely used FP to its best ability. I am somewhat apprehensive about the FP+ system and how it will impact our trips, as we generally don't plan our trips very far in advance and also don't stay onsite most of the time since we are only 90 minutes away and also have family in Orlando. However, we did just renew our AP's in October, as I am willing to see what happens before I get too worked up about it. If it ends up being unflexible and not working well for our family, then we will just let those ap's lapse and get more use out of our passes for the other area parks.

Since my now 9yo daughter was born we go about every 2-3 years for about a week at a time, visiting Disney only and touring the parks every day.

I realized before this last trip the she has become a lot more easy to travel with and we can be in Orlando in about 5 hours by car, so we could probably afford to go more often for shorter trips (which is essential since the school calendar means more now). I was considering buying into DVC, but the recent changes don't sit that well with me (I suppose I am among the "disenchanted") so instead I've considered trips to Universal or Sea World parks next year instead, at least until the smoke clears.

Our upcoming trip this weekend will make 5 visits for this year (3-4 days at a time, excluding this weekends visit which will only be for 2 days). We are somewhat local (Boca Raton- about 3 hours South) and always stay on site when we visit. I'm not making too many assumptions YET about the changes, I've chosen to withhold judgment until we try it out firsthand this weekend. I like the idea of not having to run around to collect FP's but I'm definitely not fond of the tiering, but who is? lol I guess we will see how it goes :)

Edited to add: this was me & DH first year with AP's which we will be renewing next month. Prior to having AP's I visited no less than 2 times a year.

me, DW and DD go once a year and me and DW go another time (kidless).

next year will be different as we are upgrading all the APs and plan on visiting a week in January, a week in September and a week in December.

DD is four and will be in school soon so we are taking her now during the low crowd seasons and to experience the parties.

We thought it was going to be a once a year thing. But now, for the second year in a row, we're planning two trips for 2014: a short SWW trip with just my daughter and I, and a weeklong trip later in the year that we'll all go on. I assume once our son gets old enough to appreciate and tolerate the long days and long lines at SWW, he'll be joining us there as well.

We used to go twice a year or once to WDW/and a Disney Cruise. Now that we have a child, we go once a year. This will probably be our last trip for a couple years, though - we need to save money and want to have a 2nd child, possibly move, etc. I told DH that for our next trip I want to stay in a 2 b/r villa at the Polynesian. I don't really care about the fastpass+ drama - we usually go at slower times of year and might use 1 fastpass the whole week. I don't know why people are griping when they are going in like late Jan. and probably the only two rides with over a 15 min wait will be soarin & TSM which they can get fastpass for... I could understand the frustration I guess if you are going at Christmas but I doubt that's when most disboarders go.

Aside from the cruise this is me to the T!!!

We go once a year, our next trip is in January, but after this we aren't aiming to go back until November/December of 2015 due to the fact that we will be trying for baby number 2 hopefully this winter/spring. Plus my DVC points don't refresh until June 2015 due to borrowing for our January trip.

Every 2 - 3 years if we can work it out. I find this works best for us. We have less to complain about because the magic is fresh every time we visit.

We are annual pass holders who go four to six times per year.

I'm from Illinois, and we average 1 to 4 times a year. Sometimes, we take our 4 kids, split up the kids and take either the boys (21 & 18) or just our twin girls (13), and sometimes, it's just me and the hubby. In 2013, my husband and I went alone in April and then took all 4 kids in July. Both times we stayed at AoA. Next March, it's just me and the hubby again, for 6 nights. I can't wait!!!!!pixiedust:
29 trips to Disney World and counting...next stop POFQ march 2014:joker:

This year...9 trips. 3 during Food & Wine Festival. Probably around 6 next year.

Since our honeymoon in 2009 (which was our first trip to Disney World, prior to that we had only been to the California parks), we go right around once/year. This is possible because of frequent flyer miles, friends who live in Kissimmee/work at WDW, and flexible work schedules.

Last year we went to both Disneyland (October) and Disney World (December) and that was AMAZING!! But, not possible every year, ha ha.

Since we stay offsite, we haven't been able to take advantage of the new changes (magic bands, FP+), but our recent trip (just a few weeks ago) was still magical with manageable lines. It helped that we could still get FP- for some of our favorite rides.

I don't foresee our frequency of trips to change anytime soon.

Usually once a year but in 2012, I went twice. Once with my sister and one shorter solo trip.

I have vacation time in late April - thinking of Disneyland maybe.

We usually go twice per year. Growing up I thought I was lucky to get to Disney one time. I didn't know if I'd ever get back. Fortunately I grew up and married a woman who loved Disney like I do so I get to re-live that dream over and over again. This is one aspect of my life that I'll say exceeded my fondest dreams:earsboy:

With annual passes, we average about 2 days per month. I have yet to feel disenchanted with Disney. Our upcoming visit in December will be our first time trying out the Magic bands and FP+. So far, I've enjoyed planning the FP+ times. We will see it goes, but I am looking forward to it! ;)
