...I'd never been one to exercise much, but now go for long walks and bike riding every weekend now. If I am off work I exercise more frequently. I thoroughly enjoy both activities as I enjoy the countryside. Never been in a gym, does not appeal.

Almost every day I do some activity, I run 3 days a week, ride the bike at the gym once, do pilates a few times a week, and try to get 10,000 steps in everyday... its a great stress reliever :goodvibes

I have a 4 day schedule....Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri.....cardio and weight lifting. I do Back/Bi, Chest/Tri, Shoulders/Abs, Legs....I do the cardio more for endurance at my age....so usually a 12% elevation for 15-20 minutes with 2 minute warm up and 2 minute cool down.

I just started a regular walking program in April. When I started, I could barely walk half a mile then I was just wiped out. Now I do three miles on the treadmill in an hour at least five times a week. I feel better, my cholesterol is down, and it has helped with weight loss.

I do the treadmill or eliptical 5-7 days per week, depending on my schedule and how many activities the kids have going on.

Only about two times a week since I quit my gym. They kept raising their rates and cutting their services (or charging additional amounts for what used to be freebies) so I decided not to renew.

I've been doing a lot of heavy-duty work around the house, though, and I have dogs that get walked every night. I didn't really count that as "exercise" but I suppose it is.

I'm 45 and have never stuck with any exercise in my life. I started in July and have been steady with fastwalk/run at least 5 days per week. I started weights a couple weeks ago, since muscle burns more calories than fat does. I have never really gained weight except during pregnancy and have been 120 for over 15 years. Well, this year, I was too lazy to make my lunch and bought the school lunch most days. I gained 10 pounds! So I've been working like a dog to try to lose it and have only lost 3 pounds since the beginning of July-and yes, I have changed my eating habits. It's discouraging. None of my clothes fit, I now have muffin tops where I never did before. Help!

I am an off/on exerciser. Now the weather is getting cooler, I just came back from walking the dogs at the park.

I try to do 5 days a week.

I like the group exercise classes at the gym...NO it's not just chunky, middle aged women who do them! I do Spinning, kickboxing, and Zumba. As long as you find a good instructor with good music they are a blast!

Every day.

I alternate between 3 different Tae Bo DVDs. The kicking and punching is a great stress reliever. I also like that I don't have to get down on the floor. I looked into that shred thing and discovered I'd have to get on the floor and decided against it. I prefer standing up and punching and kicking.

I do it as a stress reliever, mostly, but I'm not complaining that I can wear jeans I bought in college. That's just a bonus. :yay:

I always wanted to run, but I never got into it. I couldn't get into it outside or on a treadmill. I tried a spin class, but hated that, too.

It took a while, but I finally found what I like and I manage to work in an hour a day, every day, to kick and punch.

Monday through Friday. Weekends off for good behavior.

The usual plan is 3 or 4 days of running, 3 days in the gym, and at least one on the bike. Unfortunately I am recovering from some tendinitis in one arm and a broken pinky from a cycling crash on the opposite hand so it is more running for the next couple of months. I have 2 halves and a full marathon in the next 2 months so I was destined to be running anyway.

30 mins of cardio every day, and weights every other day rotating what I'm working. I ride horses about 4 days a week and that's good exercise too :)

I workout 6 days/wk. Three days of step and weights and 3 days of spinning.
Spinning is awesome and burns a ton of calories, my instructor is very intense.

Great question!!

I put 3 or more, but really, it is 6 times a week!! Although I have to--I own and teach a Jazzercise center!! I teach a minimum of 5 classes a week, sometimes as many as 9!!

Zumba on tues and thurs, that burns between 700-1000 calories in an hour, and you're trying so hard to do the dance steps that the hour flies by. It's wicked fun.

Plus tennis once or twice a week, doubles. Also go for walks in the morning with DH.

I put "varies" because over the summer I didn't do either, just goofed off at the pool with the kids and went for walks with DH. Sometimes I'll do a yoga class if I get too knotty from tennis.

I try to exercise 3-4 times a week. I get up early on Mondays and Wednesdays to work out and on Saturdays I go for a four mile run.

I run the treadmill every morning at least 5-7 days a week, and try to play tennis at least 2 times a week.

I'm up and down the stairs many times a day packaging stuff for our business. I'm usually carrying something weighty each way. It seems to be working!
