How often do you change your pjs?

Do you wear your pajamas more than one night? This is a big discussion in our house right now because we are going on an 8 night vacation soon & have limited room in the suitcase and I was planning to pack 3 or 4 pair. I normally wear mine for 2 nights in a row. I do shower or take a bath every night before bed.

I also wear mine 2 nights in a row most of the time. But I'm almost 51 now, so some nights are a little "hotter" than others. If I have a "hot" night, those PJs go in the wash basket the next morning.

I change my shorts every week (underwear every day). For a week long trip, I'd just use the same shorts/shirt.

I also wear pajamas for two nights in a row and shower each night. Every now and then, like right now, when it is super hot, I may take a quick morning shower and then change the pajamas an extra time.

I also wear shorts two days in a row also, same with jeans. For church I often wear nicer pants and depending on weather may wear those two Sundays in a row before washing.

For a week long trip, I would try to do at least one load if not two of laundry in the middle of the week so as not to need to bring as much.

I wish you and your family a safe and fun trip! :)

I don't use PJs, but with respect to your question I'd only bring a few pair at the most. With the exception of underwear, anything we don't sweat in will get worn at least twice before washing. Not a big deal.

I only really sleep in a t-shirt, but yes I sleep in that all week and wash it at the end of the week. For an 8 night vacation, I would pack 2 pairs of pjs for each person.

Huh... I guess I'm the odd one out here. I wear my PJs for an entire week, and swap them out when I do my laundry. Exceptions being - it's hot in the house and I was sweating during the night. Or it suddenly got hot and I want lighter PJs. Or, it suddenly got cold and I want my cozy flannels. Or I spilled something on myself while making breakfast. Anything like that, I'll change my PJs.

I actually change my undies twice a day, though. I like to sleep in a fresh pair, and I always want new ones in the morning. I couldn't cope with wearing the same ones two days in a row!

My pjs are just tees and shorts/pants.

When I'm travelling for eight days, I only bring one pair of PJs, and just ten pairs of undies. (Which is a sacrifice for me.)

Pjs get changed everyday but for vacation I would use them a few nights.

On vacation, I'll wear the same set all week. If for some reason, it becomes unwearable, a t-shirt will do as a replacement.

Only wear nightgowns, with the skivvies of the day underneath (due to DS's occasionally coming in to talk in the morning!). But I wear the same nightgown about a week or so unless I need to change up the sleeves/sleeveless due to the weather. On vacation I bring two nightgowns and do a wash in the middle of vacation. DS's only wear skivvies to bed so they just wear the ones of the day. We shower in the morning in our house.

For an 8 night vacation, I would bring one MAYBE two pairs of pjs. My trip to Europe for 2 1/2 weeks that I only brought a carryon I brought one pair of pj pants and one sleep shirt (though I did do laundry once in there). I take showers at night so I am clean in my pajamas.

I don't wear any. I'll take a night gown to throw on if we're on vacation and I'm going to be walking around at night in the same room as DS. I only bring one for that.

Sometimes at home I'll wear pj bottoms and a tshirt or tank top around the house at night. I guess I wear them a couple to three times before I wash them.

I change pjs, t-shirts, etc. (whatever I sleep in) daily, which is the same for everything we wear. The only exception would be overcoats & DH & DS's suits. They don't usually wear their suits (especially the coat) long enough to need dry cleaning after every wear.

I wear mine 3-4 days unless sick then more frequently. At home DD7 gets a new pair nightly as she sweats at night. On vacation she takes 2 pairs. I always wash part way through the trip unless we are only gone for a weekend.

I wear a t shirt and boxers to bed and I wear a different one every day, sometimes in the winter I will wear it two days. On vacation though, I will only bring two shirts and two boxers to sleep in. I only bring one carry on for a week.
