How often do you burn

I use to burn candles, but I find them too dirty anymore. Now I just use the warmers, much safer, much cleaner, same result.

I burn candles almost every day. I also love the tarts in the warmers. I have about 75 different scents to choose from.

I used to burn them (set them on my oven top where I felt it was safer with kids around) almost every day... Until I realized I had soot INSIDE my kitchen cabinets. That was not an easy cleaning job! :crazy2:
I received a tart warmer as a Christmas gift a couple years ago and I love it. I use it at least weekly, sometimes more. You can change the scents frequently. They are cheap. And they take less space to store. Love em!

I burn them occasionally. Just put a brand new Christmas Eve candle on the stove top in my new house- can't wait to light it on our first night there!

I rarely burn a candle. I have a couple tart warmers. I prefer to use fragrance oil in them, but also buy tarts.

I use them every weekend. Sometimes I will plug it in during the week.

In the fall and winter, almost daily.

In the spring and summer, rarely if ever.

I like Yankee candles, but actually prefer the ones at Bath & Body Works (Slatkin). I've been burning the Autumn ones, and soon will switch over to the Winter scent.

Almost everyday................but not in summer, can't bring myself to light a candle when it is 115.

I use Yankee jars mostly..............going to lit a Pumpkin Pie one today.

Do you have animals that would knock them over or small kids? I burn them all the time and I have a real phobia of fire. I place them out of reach on on something that is able to handle the heat. I always blow them out well before going to bed. Really just curious as to why they are too dangerous?

I'm not the pp you are asking, but I can relate.

I once left the house with a candle lit so since then I don't burn them anymore. I purchased some electric tart warmers that I use pretty much daily now.
I do use battery operated candles in holders that I just want the "ambiance" of candle light.

I usually do. But these days the candles are turning me off. They make me nauseated. Blame the pregnancy.

Almost daily in the fall and winter. Love the big Yankee jar candles, and I found I can get them cheaper at the flea market so that's where I've been buying them. ::yes::

In fact, I have a Cinnamon Stick one burning right now. :goodvibes

I am so OCD about this type of thing that it isn't an issue. An electric tart warmer would bother me just as much as a candle. If it warms in any fashion to me it is a fire hazard and must be treated as such. I drive my DH nuts. I blow candles out long before I leave the house or go to bed, I even will touch the wick to make sure it isn't warm. I have been known to ruin candles by pouring water on them if I was unsure before I went to bed. I unplug almost everything. except the TV and computer. Coffee pot, toaster, can opener, all unplugged, if I could get tp the stove it would be also. I will touch each burner with my entire forearm to make sure it isn't on before I go to bed, yep I need help. lol I guess that is why I never have to worry about a candle catching fire in my house.

I have never burned a single candle.
I have 3 battery operated flameless candles throughout the family and living room that stay on from 7pm-midnight each night. I bought them from Costco and they are terrific!

I have 3 cats, so I worry about them burning down the house. That's a big reason why I don't have real candles.

Never. Too many candles (and air fresheners and plug-ins) emit known carcinogens into the air. Since candle makers are not required by law to list the ingredients of their products, I don't buy them. The law says that since the scent formulas are proprietary, the makers are not forced to disclose what's in them and I'm unwilling to take the risk.

I figure I breathe in enough bad stuff every day without willingly adding to it.

Light a candle when the power goes out at night for a short time. Burn an oil lamp when it's out for longer periods.

Light matches anytime just for anyhow.

I love to light candles, especially during the fall/winter months. I have one usually lite in my kitchen on a daily basis and a few here or there in my living room a few times a week. I also have tart warmers that I will have going.

I will only light candles on the floor that I am on. I will not light candle in the kitchen and then go upstairs to clean the bathroom or whatever. If I am leaving the downstairs/upstairs for longer than a short trip I will blow the candles out.
