How often do you burn

Never. No incense or other fragrances either. For whatever reason, the scents make it hard for Mrs. Tex to breathe.

Before we were married, I used to burn incense frequently, but that's it.

I have never burned a single candle.
I have 3 battery operated flameless candles throughout the family and living room that stay on from 7pm-midnight each night. I bought them from Costco and they are terrific!

I have 3 cats, so I worry about them burning down the house. That's a big reason why I don't have real candles.

Never. Too many candles (and air fresheners and plug-ins) emit known carcinogens into the air. Since candle makers are not required by law to list the ingredients of their products, I don't buy them. The law says that since the scent formulas are proprietary, the makers are not forced to disclose what's in them and I'm unwilling to take the risk.

I figure I breathe in enough bad stuff every day without willingly adding to it.

In California I was too afraid an earthquake would knock a candle over and start a fire. But here in Florida I've gotten into the Yankee Candles. Was just there today and lit Red Velvet tonight. We collect the little ones when we have coupons and have 6 or 7 to choose from. At Christmas I have large jars - three different scents - to celebrate the holidays with!
