There are a lot of factors that come into play when trying to budget a trip. Your biggest expenses will be food, transportation, hotel and park passes.
  1. When are you going?
  2. Will you stay on or off-site? What kind of amenities do you prefer?
  3. Will you eat 3 sit-down meals per day?
  4. Will you visit the parks everyday? Will you want to park-hop?
  5. Will you visit Sea World, Busch Gardens or Univeral Studios, too?
  6. Where are you coming from?
  7. Will you drive there, take the train or fly?
  8. If you're not driving, will you rent a car, take a shuttle bus, a towncar or a taxi to get to your resort?
    [/list=1]

Once you give a few more specifics, it will be easier to answer your question.

I have all of that...I just need stuff like food and souveniers (sp?) What have people budgetted per day as far as food and spending?
Thanks!

My DW and I budget $100 / day for food... we eat expensive when we are on vacation :p and usually $200 for souvineers for the entire trip. Hope this helps

On our last trip, with just two adults (DH and I), I budgeted $50 per day per person for food (meals & snacks, took our own bottled water). We had planned on eating approx. one sit down meal per day and the rest counter service. We had lots of money left over.

On our trip in a couple weeks, I've budgeted $100 per day for DH, myself, and our 2 year-old since Ethan usually eats off our plates and is free for buffets. I'm still hoping to come back with some extra.

We don't spend much on souvenirs. We stay out of the shops until the last day or two and then look out for something we REALLY like. We will pick up something inexpensive as we go, if it particularly catches Ethan's eye. I usually just budget enough for a nice sweatshirt for each of us adults and a couple of toys for Ethan -- for our upcoming trip, I've budgeted $75 per adult for the 6 day trip and $50 for Ethan. (I did already buy Ethan a few Disney items that we'll take with us. Plus, picked up a few matching Disney t-shirts cheap during the summer clearance at the Disney Store web site.)

On our last trip to Disneyland, I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy for myself, so brought my souvenir money home and stuck it in savings until I see something around town that I want. DH bought himself a pullover sweatshirt for about $65 and Ethan got a twirly light toy ($12) and toy monkey ($13).

I hope this helps!

Our family of 4 (DH,myself,DD13 and DS11) budgets $100 per day for food. We usually eat a light breakfast, mid-morning snack. a large, late lunch and a light dinner. If you intend to eat at sit-down restaurants for every meal, you will need more.

Souvenirs can run into big bucks or they can be very inexpensive. DH and I buy very few souvenirs but I allow the kids to spend $50 each for pins and t-shirts. If you're going to buy collectibles, novelty items or souvenir photos, plan on much more money.

so maybe like 75.00-100.00/day food wise.

I really just want something great from disney...I'm thinking maybe a cell or something...dont know...I am sure we will do the t shirt thing...but we will see...I thought abou tthe watch thing but the BF has his and I dont get a watch that is breakable...I go thru them like crazy...so I guess that will have to work...
Thanks for the help!

I budget $50 per day per person for food and snacks. I do at least one sit meal per day as fast food gets to me after the 2nd day. I budget about $200 for souvenirs. I usually come home with money as well. Hope this helps.

that sounds reasonable.
Unfortunately when we are not at work our schedules get all messed up...so we probably won't eat as often or as much as we usually do...but then there is always the factor that we aren't at home so we will eat more...I do like the idea of a sit down meal each day...I'll have to get the bf to figure out what he would like and look at making PS arrangements.
