How much do you all pay for a babysitter per hour?

I was wondering since I have 2 kids(7&2) and my sister is usually our sitter. I pay her $20 for about two hours. Is that too much or too little? I want to make sure she gets paid for what she is doing and that I am not being a cheapskate. She has mentioned that my aunt pays her $50 for about 3 hours of babysitting. Then again her kids are a bit crazy(7&4), so she might just pay my sister extra because of that reason, whereas my kids are better behaved.

We try to go by the rule of 10 bucks an hour per kid.........but that is just what we do.....

I baby sat up till about 2002 for a family with 3 kids, and I got about $10 an hour..and that was top end pay. I would see what you pay as being reasonable now.
