How much $ was your vacation?

Is this for this year in sept? My sis (and her daughter 5yrs at time) and I are hopping for free dining at Pop for end of Sept-Oct this year. For about 14 nights. Do you already have this booked with a Bounce back? I've done the Pop FD 3 years in a row but not the last 2-3 years. So waiting for it to be announced and crossing fingers for FD at values. We will upgrade to regular DP. I also already will have the DVC PAP ($399). I wish for FD they would let the people that already have a AP/PAP not be required to purchase the min tickets for the FD. I still have a stack of 1 day base tickets from FD trips. I do use toward upgrading to AP/PAP but can only do that when there in person so a pain when you can't use them toward a renewal when you are not actually down there.

Here is mine:

2 adults, 1 junior, 1 kid

14 nights with free dining at pop standard room $2,226

Gas for car as we are driving $400

Hotels on way there and way back $200

Premium annual passes dvc 3@399 and 1@549. We will also go on another 14 day trip with these. $1,746

Total $4,572 and the tickets can be used again. Not bad

2 adults 3 kids stayed at fort wilderness in our RV. -2,500 for 10 days (dh stayed for only 2) . Much less than our normal trip due to cheaper hotel (premium spot was ~80 a night ) and much cheaper food- golf cart rental was a new expense, but we used an offsite company which saved us half the cost.

Last Disney trip with annual pass free dining $3000 for five two rooms.

Love putting aside for vacation fund now that house is paid off.

There's just 2 of us in September, so to ballpark, I'd say something like:

$500 Airfare (for 2 people, Southwest)
$180 Car Rental
$840 BWV Point Rental (standard studio)
$100 Groceries
$150 Park Food
$50 Souvies
$670 2 6-Day Hopper Tix

Grand Total: $2500-ish

Week long (Saturday to Saturday) in September, stay at BWV renting points (standard studio), 6-day Park Hoppers (Mousesavers Undercover Tourist Discount from 2 years ago), Eating 1 TS meal per day with the other food made in the room/brought in to the parks, Flying Southwest, Car rental via Capital One Rewards Travel. Southwest Gift Cards and Disney Gift Cards are purchased at Kroger to get money off on gasoline, and Publix gift card was purchased online as the "Stocking Gift" at Christmas.
