HOw much vinegar?

If anyone saw my previous post needing urgent help, then you know my problem. I am having a problem getting rid of the smokey smell in my shirts. So, I since I have almost runined one shirt I am going to get some white vinegar (sp?) at the store and try to wash that one in some.

I know that post people have posted to wash with 1 cup vinegar, but do you still use that much for only 1 shirt or should I use less?

Anyone know? I want to try and wash it tonight or tomorrow morning.
