Dh gets 6 weeks. He can never take them all. Seems silly that the higher up you go, the more vacation time you get, and the less you can actually take.
I am a teacher, my vacation days are set. I do get 10 sick days and 2 personal days per year, which rolls over. However, if you take more than 2-3 sick days in a row you need a doctor's note when you come back or they dock your pay. My last district didn't do this. Seems silly to have to go see a doctor when you have something like the flu that is contagious and you know will go away in a few days.
