From Indy to Orlando it's $69 each way to upgrade on a non-stop flight.

from buffalo to orlando and from orlando to buffalo it is always cost us $99 to upgrade to business class definatly always upgrade love having the more leg room

I was offered it to Baltimore in December, and it was $69 I think. It was worth it, since we were checking bags. Had some wine!!

I am assuming that if you have a connecting flight that you would have to upgrade for each flight.

If so can you only upgrade on the first leg of the flight? My flights are MSP-ATL-MCO. It is a short flight from ATL-MCO.

Here is my question.
Can this be done? If so, is that baggage free all the way to MCO? Is it 2 bags free or just 1?

I found some of the info. I can just do 1 segment, but I am not sure if the baggage would then be free for the entire trip if I just upgrade on the 1st segment.

Anyone know if Airtran sticks to the "full coach fare (Y class)" rule? Believe mine is V class. I've always bought the cheapest fares and upgraded at check-in at the airport, when possible. Don't believe I've flown them since they started allowing upgrades online and I'd like to upgrade when we travel to WDW.....NEXT WEEK!!!!

At the airport on Wednesday, the flight next to ours was going to Atlanta. They announced the cost to upgrade to business class was $49, so it does not appear to be dependent on the fare you paid.

I would suggest doing the upgrade online, at the 24 hour mark, they can go quickly. If you are using points, 4 are needed, you can upgrade on the phone at midnight of the day before your flight. If you were flying at 8 AM on Wed, you could call at midnight Mon/Tues to upgrade on the phone. If doing it online at 24 hours, it is 24 hours exactly, not a minute (or a second) before.

And if you are using the points it is a TOTAL of only 4 for the whole flight - so if you are going from Bloomington to Atlanta with a layover and then onto Orlando the cost of credits from you rewards account is just 4 (not 8). If you are paying though you do pay separately for each segment/
