How much to tip

I am still torn between using Tiffany Towncar (I've used them before with no problem) and FL Tours. But, my question is how much to tip. We will be a family of ten, four children under the age of 7. What is a standard tip? thanks.

The industry standard is 15-20% of your rental charge i.e.($100 charge tip would be $15-$20)Good Luck.

I thought it was a few bucks per bag with the heavy, bigger bags being $5 per bag? We are a family of 5 with 2 big bags and a carryon that we handle ourself. We tip $10 and I think that is fair.

Unless you're unhappy with your driver the industry standard for a "airport car service is 15-20%.The owners also count this as part of the drivers pay.

If you are sharing a shuttle with other families (like Mears), it goes by the bag. If you are going with a taxi or private limo, then it's 15-20%. In a town car, I usually tipped $10 each way.

I always tip $10 for each leg of the trip. I make one envelope w/the towncar fare and 2 envelopes for tips. -Steph
