This is the link to the Tipping Information Thread, where all tipping discussion is held on the Restaurant board. The first post has a tipping FAQ and the reasons why we have one thread for tipping discussion in the first place.

As for the question, the way we've had to handle that on the Restaurant boards is by saying that it's up to you. One of the guidelines we have on the tipping thread is no discussion of personal tipping habits or preferences, as it always ends up in fights. So asking for others to post their tipping preferences there would probably get deleted.

Unless you're in a category that requires an automatic gratuity (6 or more in your party or using a TIW discount) then it's entirely up to you what to decide to tip at any restaurant.
