How much to Budget for Souvenirs?

wow i signed up for that but never made anything. how did you make it work for you?

I can't speak for the PP... but I make sunshine rewards work for me by doing my shopping through them.

For example. I can buy large items that I would already be buying at walmart through walmart.com I go do have to go pick them up from the site to store area, but I was already going there anyway. Then, I get a small amount of money from sunshine rewards for doing so.

I bought all of my families shoes online, shopping through SR. Stuff I would of already bought.

I also buy stuff from drugstore.com. You have to spend $50 to get free shipping, but, I do it about every other month. I also have to shop carefully there, to make sure the things I'm buying are the same price that I would be spending.

The other big shopping is ebay. I have to catch DH in the act.. and convince him to let me click through SR.. but, it only takes 30 more seconds, and we were going to buy it anway.. and you get a bit of money from SR.

I only shop if I was already going to buy it, and if it comes with free shipping.

I do a few surveys, but, they're hard to qualify for (for me)
And I do offers, if I don't have to put in my phone number. But, that's hard to find those as well.

It takes time, but it does add up. I only put about 5 minutes time into it everyday, other than shopping.

For our last years vacation, I started much ealier, and made about 100
this year, I only got back into action (I have a hard time seeing the goal FAR in the future) about 2 months ago. I have $45 disney dollars/gift cards.

wow ty i will have to rember to buy walmart stuff there, I shop walmart all the time, so if i buy on line can i pick up in the store? Or did i mis understand. Ya I cant qualify for there surveys

Does anyone know how much Postcards cost at DL? I was thinking about buying a few to add to my photo book when I get home.

it matters i think we found some for 75cents and others for 150 or 250 depending on what ones, we were looking at ones on sell like halloween one in Nov

Typically, I think we spend less than $100. I don't wear Disney clothes and neither does my dh.

In May we bought our toddler a light toy and a t-shirt. We bought a few magnets and Casey's grandma bought her a disney princess tea set.

I almost bought her an Alice Dress for $50, but decided to wait until we go in September.

Thanks for the info. I am not a scrapbooker (not enough patience), but I got this idea for our DL trip to buy a large photo album (the ones with the slots for regular-sized photos and put in as many postcards as I can find to complement them (maybe one from every land, attractions, etc.). I'm going to buy the photo album outside the park though to save a bit of money.

Just an idea for someone who does not want to spend tons on souvenirs, but would like something nice to remember DL by.

hay thats cool i had that same idea. were buying the photo autograph book probley at the outlet store if not then the downtown disney store and ya the post cards would be cool . I wasnt gona do each land, but some fav rides. but your ideas cool
