if you use a company that the tip is included then its your choice if you would like to tip extra.if you use a company that the tip is not included the going rate is 20% of that fare.
so if your round trip is $100.00 then you would divide that in half wich would be $50.00 so then you take the 20% on the $50.00 and you get the tip amount $10.00 but in reality its customers choice what they would like to tip you could give $5.00.most of the drivers dont mind what you give $5.00 is better then nothing.
but $2.00 is crazy. i hope i helped you.like i said though its up to the customer.
We tip our drivers depending on service. If they are curteous and helpful they get $10, above the tip already included. If they aren't helpful , then they would get the $5 bucks. We have never encountered any driver, van or shuttle that did not deserve at least something.
Since TT doesn't include the tip in the fare...we tip $15 on the first leg and $10, sometimes $15, on the return. If it's the same driver, they get the $10, if a different driver, the $15.
