How much time to get off the ship in Juneau?

I want to book an outside whale watch tour in Juneau. The guest ashore time is 6:45am and the whale watch with Harv & Marv begins at 7:30am (pick up time at port). Is that enough time to get off the ship?

I think that should be plenty of time to be off the ship. There is a large parking area where shuttle buses and excursion groups meet up that is only about a 5 minute walk or less once you disembark. I would just make sure you are ready to go by 7am at the latest - they will make announcements when you can disembark.

They have been doing this for so many years - if you are not dawdling off the ship, you should not have a problem making your meet up.

We never had a problem getting off the ship early enough - the time they give for ashore time isn’t the time you dock, it’s the time you can leave the ship. There is a short shuttle ride to the location where you meet up with tours, so giving yourself a little time to get there is important, but 45 minutes should be plenty of time.
