How much time to do BTMRR&Splash w RS?

We are a party of 6 (including a 3yo that is too short) 3 of us have a BTMRR FP+ that starts at 11:55, the other 2 have a FP+ for Splash that starts at 12:15. We will get RS to everyone can ride both rides. We have an ADR @ Liberty Tree for 1:35.

Will we have enough time to do both rides, including the RS? Or should I save the swap passes for after lunch?

My plan is for DH and myself to ride BTMRR with FP+, grab a RS while the others stay back with dd3.

My Sister, mom and dad will then ride BTMRR with RS, DH and I stay back with dd3.



My sister, mom, and dad have a FP+ for Splash. They will ride and grab a RS, DH and I stay back with DD.

Then DH and myself will ride with RS while others stay back with DD.

Or do I have that wrong ?? I've never used RS before so it's entirely possible i have misinterpreted it.

It will depend on how long it takes at the Barber Shop and then the BTMRR riders need to ride and then the Swap riders. Then on to Splash with waiting for both groups.

If you are tight on time, have the Splash swap group ride later in the day or even on another day. Swap passes are usually good until the end of the month of your visit.

Thank you- that's great to know I can even save the swaps for another day. Good idea to do the Splash swap last since it's considerably longer than BTMRR

I thought they normally only gave you one rider swap pass for a ride, but that may not be the case

Eek - I thought I read on here that swaps were good for up to 3 people?!? Will have to look into this as a few of our strategies rely on being able to use RS with 2 or 3 of us. Thanks for the heads up!

The group who has ridden Splash first can always go check-in at the restaurant. Your group will be seated when everyone arrives.

I'm 99% sure they are good for 3 people and I'm 100% sure they are good until the end of the month. Have fun!

I think you should have time if you start right at the first FP time.

The rider switch pass is good for up to 3 people and good until the end of the month.

Just be aware that often the CM at the ride wants to SEE the kid that can't ride before giving the switch, so make sure your waiting family isn't too far away.

Thanks, that is helpful. Does my DD have to go into the FP line and present themselves to the cast member closer to the ride loading area, or just at the start of the FP entrance?

Just at the FP entrance so the CM can see them. They'll give you the rider switch pass at the entrance. My DH would stand a little out of the way since sometimes the FP entrance can get crowded, but I would point to him and he'd wave at the CM. Some CMs don't ask, but others do so to be safe I'd make sure they are around.
