How much time to budget for GF tea?

No, I'm not trying to rush our time there! I am just looking for a rough estimate as to how long we will be at the Garden View Tea, we're going without the guys and I want to give them an idea how long it will take. You know, because they will miss us SOOO much!

We spent at least an hour there last year. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed everything.

I agree with the PP. 1-1.5 hrs would be good, not counting travel time

I've done the tea a many times, and each time it's taken a little over an hour. If you want to slow down and just enjoy your time, just let your server know, and they are happy to comply. Enjoy your time there, it's the best hidden gem in any of the Disney properties!

1-1.5 hours for a nice time. They bring things out one course at a time, so it is very relaxing. I hope you enjoy it!

DH and I were there for about 75 minutes, we really enjoyed it! We were at the first time, 2pm, and it was a great way to take a break from MK and then head back over there.

Yes they take ADR's. I have been twice. I enjoyed the experience both times. I'll definitely go back.

I think part of the timing aspect will also be what you plan on ordering. If you've had lunch, plan on having dinner and your thoughts are a cup of tea and a scone while you enjoy the atmosphere- a half hour to 45 minutes will probably cover it. If this will be your lunch, plan an hour to an hour and a half.

It will be at least an hour to an hour and a half as the previous posters have said. It is so relaxing to sit there and sip on tea and nibble on goodies in the middle of the afternoon. A great break away from the parks.

Thanks everyone! I am so excited about this, I've never been here before and I think a little girly time will be great!! (plus hubby likes nothing more than taking a nap on vacation, so it should work perfectly!)
