How much time should we allow for character meal experiences?

Seeking guestimates on character dining experiences so I can plan the day/evening well.

What time might a party of 5, with only 1 child, age 4, expect to leave each meal, assuming reservation times are honored within 15 minutes of the reservation:

8:15 AM breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table
5 PM dinner at Crystal Palace
9:35 AM breakfast at Chef Mickey's

TIA!

I haven't been to CRT but regular character meals, they take about an hour. It could be quicker if you happen to get all the characters coming your way when you sit but probably not much quicker.

We often leave w/o seeing all the characters b/c they take so long. Our toddlers can only sit still for about an hour and even that is not an easy task. I would say at LEAST 60-90 mins. Probably more like 90-120.

If you want to see all of the characters I would allow time for 90 mins. However you may get lucky and the characters may greet you a lil after you get there, then it's just eat and leave.

Around an hour and a half to an hour and forty five minutes.:cool1:

Sweet! Thank you.

Every time I've been to Crystal Palace, the characters have been very timely. In fact, sometimes they are coming around for the 2nd or 3rd time by the end of our meal, and we don't take forever.

Great job on getting an early morning breakfast at CRT!!! It is amazing to walk down Main St almost empty. Get your camera ready for some great pictures:thumbsup2

Our experiences

IMHO I would get to MK between 7:30-7:45. Go in as soon as they allow you to. Spend some time taking pictures and then you will get in line for pictures with Cinderella. Once you are seated, it is pretty quick service and the princess's are available immediately, making their rounds. We had an 8am ressie and still make the 9am rope drop. This was one of our favorite breakfast and it was so well organized. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

CP is another story. We had a 5pm ressie, we were seated at 5:20p, it was my grandaughters birthday and the main character she wanted to see was Eeyore. We waited, and waited and waited and finally after 1.5 hours and sitting there 30 min after we were done eating, we got up, went over to Eeyore, and when he left one of the tables, we ask politely if we could just have a picture with him so we could leave. So it was a full 2 hour experience.

We have never been to CM so no comment on this one.

I will say that our best experiences for character meals have been at breakfast.

We have been to Tusker House twice, Crystal Palace twice and Cinderella's Royal table, all between 8am-8:15am. In ALL 5 experiences for breakfast we saw all the characters and had a great breakfast and still make 9am rope drop.
