How much time should I allow for returning to the airport?

Our US Air flight leaves Orlando at 11:41 a.m. on a Monday (12/3). We will be staying at PO-FQ and will have a rental car from National. What time should I leave the resort to catch our plane (figuring in drive and rental car return times)?

Thanks!

who is your rental car with?
when you go to airport check your bags in first with the skycaps then go return the car. much easier that way. you should be at the airport 1 hr prior to check for your flight time. I would also call the carrier first at 1-800-428-4322 to check and see if you flight is running on schedule. it could be bad weather that time of year. you never know. I would depart disney somewhere around 9:30 am. possbily even 9 am. I am always habitualy early so for me it would be 9 am.

we just came back flying US air and both of our flights were delayed about an hour. We left the ASMU at 8:30am our flight was orginially at 11:06. by the time we dropped off the rental car it was 9:30 am. (there was 9 of us and two cars)the line to checkin was very long. we checked our baggage with the outside guys there were only 3 ahead of us.

Thanks for the info. I'm a habitually early person, too, and I was thinking 8:30. So, I will be very happy with an extra half and hour! My rental is with National -- at other return locations I've always had good luck with them.

I agree with Beverly Lynn...we are always there 1 hour prior to check in...and we always check with the skycaps because the lines inside are usually really long! :)
