How much time should be allotted for BOG dinner?

I am so thankful that I was recently able to score a dinner ADR for BOG for our party of 7. However, it is a little later than we wanted (6:20pm). How much time should I allot for this dinner?

We do not want to rush the 1st time BOG experience, but we were hoping to enjoy the Main Street Electrical Parade that starts at 8pm that night.

Easily 70-90 minutes. We've had dinner at BoG multiple times and the service has always been slow. In June we had a 6:00 dinner ADR and left the restaurant at 7:45.

We had a 9:10 Ressie and was still there at 11pm. It'll be busy, just saw the MSEP from the Castle which was nice

Wow, 90 minutes? Guess it's good our ADR is at 5:05 with MNSSHP starting at 7. I was planning on maybe scheduling a FP+ for sometime between 6-7 but I definitely won't now!

It is easy to get caught up in the atmosphere at BOG, whether exploring other rooms, watching the "snow" fall outside the window (where we ended up sitting, which was pretty neat), etc. I think part of the length of the meal will also depend on whether you're getting appetizers and desserts. I would say that with a 6:20 ADR, you could easily be out in time to see an 8:00 parade. If it looks like you're pushing your luck on getting back outside, but you still want a cupcake, just ask for it to go and eat it while you watch the parade.

It only took us about an hour, but our reservation was at 8:30 so the main dinner rush was slowing down. We did not do appetizers and got a dessert to-go. I felt like the service was quite speedy and the line to meet Beast was pretty short when we left.

It's the main ballroom. The snow effect is always there.
