Will be visiting WDW 8-19 December and want to visit USF just to ride the new Simpson's attraction. Using Mears, about how long do you think it would take to get from WDW to USF, ride the Simpson's, then return to WDW? I'm not too keen on visiting USF, but I do want to ride the Simpson's ride, once.

USF = University of South Florida? Probably about an hour and a half each way, depending on traffic.

Universal Orlando Resort, home of the new Simpson's ride? About 20-30 minutes away, depending on traffic. Simpson's ride is about a 6 minute ride, but it's at the back of the park, so probably at least 10-15 minutes to get from the front entrance to the ride. I've seen wait times as low as 5 minutes, as high as 60 minutes.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping someone's recently used Mears to get from WDW to USF (Universal Studios Florida as per the DIS abbreviations guide) and back.
