How much time for Pandora?

We are headed to AK for 1 day the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We just got our tickets today and of course all the FPs are gone for both Pandora rides. While I will stalk MDE incessantly over the next month I'm going to plan to just get there well before rope drop and ride both rides first thing in the AM. How much time should we allot for this? Trying to plan the rest of my FPs for the day once we are done in Pandora. With a 8 am open, what time would we approximately be done with both rides? 11? 12? 1? Planning to be at the gate by 6:30 am.

Depends on what you are looking to get out of it. You can get both rides out relatively quickly if you time it right at rope drop. I suggest walking around and looking at the details as they are spectacular. I also recommend checking out Satuli Canteen for some food or Pongu Pongu for drinks.

Overall you could spend hours in the land but you can spread that out during the day.

Obviously FOP is the thorny issue. If you really are there VERY EARLY, and able to get on FOP towards the front of the masses, then you should be out by 8:30-8:45. By that time, Navi may be a 25-30 minute wait. If you start booking your FP at 10:00, that still gives you until 11:00 to ride your next ride. Probably even safe to do 9:30 with the 1 hour time window. Agree that you can come back later to walk around the area. We spent at least a 1/2 hour just exploring. The Canteen is also a great place to eat, and really good food.

If your mission is to just do both rides plan on about 1.5 - 2 hours if you get there at rope drop. This past Friday we were at the gate at 8:10 and off FOP at 9:30. The standby wait time for the Navi River Journey was 60 min at 9:30. We could have shaved 15-20 min off of the FOP time if we chose to be "those people" and tried to wiggle our way through the rope drop crowd.
