How much time do you spend planning your trip?

my friends, BF and I are going to wdw in May of next year along with my mom dad and sister. we ALL started planning in May of this year (with help from my mom of course!) BF never says that I get annoying with it. . .My friends however are a different story!

When I booked next year's trip and mentioned it to a friend of mine, she made me promise not to drive her insane with a daily "Countdown to Disney"....I guess she heard enough of that the last time

As soon as I am back from one trip I start planning for the next one. Right now I have two years until my next trip and I am already starting to plan stuff and getting a sunscription to tgm.

DITTO! My husband is cool with my WDW insanity....friends, not so much! Those that love us, know us best!

We wanted to go this past May, but unfortunately didn't get to. We are all set for May of 08. I think i'm going to book the room in the next few weeks. Which will be around the time I can book my adrs, Of course I already have them planned out.

Obsessed, I think so, look at the time I am posting this, I have to get up very early tommorow, I had to get out of bed to come on the dis.....

I had a dream the other night I was sitting my dd3 on Ariells lap and taking pictures. when i woke up, i was so upset it wasnt' real.

Ok i really need to get some sleep.

I laughed so hard when I read your post. My husband thinks I am a bit crazy with all my planning. We dont leave for our 7 day cruise and 9 day stay at the World until April. I have been planning for almost a year already. It really is half the fun. I have learned so much from all my time online and of course at WalMart,the car,watching tv etc!
We sail the 12th celebrating our 25 anniversary and husbands b'day. Then spend 9 days staying at the Beach Club. We really both can't wait.

I spent at least 20 hours on our first trip and already have that for our second trip and it is not until September! I absolutely MUST plan everything!

I start planning at least a year in advance. It seems like everytime I'm on the DIS I learn something new. It's scary and exciting at the same time. I want to learn about things I've some how missed but also its scary because I thought I knew so much already. I'm on this board several times a day when work is slow. At home once before bed and several times on the weekend. We will be at the World the end of May and the first part of June. Everything is planned out but I'm still tweeking(sp?) it just a little.

When I first book the trip just a little. That was 11 months ago. Then when it gets closer, 180 days every morning noon and night. They say change is good so that's what I do right up till the day we leave.

I asked DH this question...
His reply? "From the time, we get home from the last one!"

I have to have something to do on the 17 hour car ride home!
What better way to pass the time than to plan another trip to WDW!
