How much time at Disney Quest?

Just wondering how much time you spend at DQ? We only have 1 evening for all of DTD (after a day at TL). What is a reasonable amount of time to allow for 2 (11 & 12 yo) computer game fanatics to have a good time - 1 to 2 hrs., 3 to 4 hrs., more...?

:tink:

I think about 2-3 hours would be a good amount of time, but you should have a flexible schedule and allow more time in case they want to stay.

my DS-11 and DD-8 can spend about 4-6 hours there easily. Last time they went they were there from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and then we went back from 6:00 p.m. until about 8-8:30. VERY LONG day for DH. We went early and I became ill so I went back to the resort and DH stayed with the kids until I was feeling better. We met for dinner and then back to DQ.

Enjoy it though becuase from what I understand rumor has it that it is closing in October and ESPN zone is going in !?

On low to medium crowd days, I'd plan for about 3-4 hours. Remember your ticket is good for the whole day - so you can go to DQ early, get done what you can get done - get lunch, shop, go to the parks, whatever - then come back until it closes.

I say, drop them off and give time for you and your spose to enjoy a more romantic evening to yourselves. Drop them off and go see Cirque. It's right next door to DQ, and if they need you, they can text you or call the cell phone. They'll have a blast, and you'll enjoy the evening more so than sitting around playing video games.

THANX everyone for your responses! Sounds like these kids can sure spend some time there! I'll be sure to plan at least 4 hrs. Based on what you've said about your kids, I'm sure they'll enjoy every minute. We'll just have to grab some CS dinner. Have any of you tried Food Quest? Not exactly my idea of a fun dinner (looking at the menu at allears), but I doubt that I will be able to pry them away for long.

Showe, I do remember hearing they were closing. But here's what I don't get. Our next trip is not until Dec. and we've paid for it included in our package. Don't you think they would stop including it on the package if they were going to close soon? :confused3

well just a rumor that we heard. And, we heard this back in February. I guess if they were closing then they wouldn't be including it in future packages. We were at DQ in June and talked with a CM who wouldn't come right out and say it was true but hinted that it was going to be replaced by ESPN zone. When I mentioned October he just smiled and said he heard something like that too. But, as I said all just rumor. Hopefully, it will still be there for your visit. I know if it does get replaced my kids are going to miss it terribly.

Enjoy your visit.
